Real Estate Recording Fees

Deeds, Changes of Title, Affidavits of Surviving Spouse, Name Changes, and Real Estate Contracts (including Assignments of Contract and Amendments of Contracts) $7 for the first page ($5.00 plus $1.00 record management fee per transaction plus $1.00 E-Commerce fee per transaction) and $5 per additional page. PLUS $5.00 Auditor's transfer fee* (see below)
Multi-Purpose Real Estate Related Findings (i.e. instruments that release or assign multiple mortgages, multiple leases, etc.) $7 for the first page ($5.00 plus $1.00 record management fee plus $1.00 E-Commerce Fee) and $5 per additional page.
All Other Documents $7 for the first page ($5.00 plus $1.00 record management fee plus $1.00 E-Commerce Fee) and $5 per additional page.

A parcel of real estate includes: For real estate outside a city's limits, all contiguous land lying within a number section; for real estate located within a city, all contiguous land lying within a platted block or subdivision. Within a number section, platted block or subdivision, land separated only by a public street, alley, or highway remains contiguous. Auditor's transfer fees shall not exceed $50.00 for one instrument.

Federal Tax Lien Search $6.00/name search; $5.00/page for copy of document
Certification Fee (all real estate documents - does not include vital records) $5.00 for certification PLUS $.50/page of copy
Uniform Commercial Code Fees $7 for the first page ($5.00 plus $1.00 record management fee per transaction plus $1.00 E-Commerce Fee) and $5 per additional page

Plat of Surveys

$7 for the first page ($5.00 plus $1.00 record management fee per transaction plus $1.00 E-Commerce Fee) and $5 per additional page

Plat Books                          Plat Books are available for purchase in the Recorder's Office for $20. If you would like one mailed to you the cost is $20 + and additional $2 for postage.
