Boat Ramp  Fishing

bald eagle on rock The Middle Raccoon River is a very popular river in Dallas County. This section of the river is designated as a Protected Waters Area River and provides many opportunities for canoeists, kayakers, fisherman, hikers, and many other low impact activities. Local birdwatchers know the area well for the frequent viewings of bald eagles perched in trees during the winter months.
