P48 & F59 Paving Project Update

Pavement Removal Continues

Post Date:07/09/2014 12:06 PM

With a break in the weather, Peterson Contractors, Inc. is back to work.  They will continue to remove and crush the existing pavement.  The crushed material will then be placed where the old road was.  With some rain still in the forecast, it is likely that progress may be a little slower as we do our best to maintain access to residents.

Today pavement will be removed around the addresses of 35057, 35059, and 35138 Dexfield Road.  Access to your homes will be tricky today as it all depends on the location of the crushing and grading operations at the time.  From today forward, access for the 3 addresses listed above will be from the south, through Dexter.  Until paving takes place, there will be a temporary rock road provided allowing access.

All other residents can avoid construction activities by traveling north on P48, towards F59 and Redfield.

We appreciate your patience as the weather has delayed progress.

If you have questions relating how to get to your home for today, July 9th, please contact our Chief Inspector Rob Lehman at 515-371-9848
