Join Dallas County Conservation and the Des Moines Astronomical Society, DMAS, on Tuesday, June 30th, at Kuehn Conservation Area, from 8 to 10 pm., for a night of star gazing. Usually, our astronomical programs are limited to naked eye observations, but this program offers a whole new look at the sky. DMAS will bring their telescopes to this viewing to allow participants to gaze at the wonders of distant galaxies, nebulae, star clusters and more.
The program will begin with a short introductory presentation on Deep Sky Objects and will then move outside for the telescopic viewing.
Registration is required for this FREE program.
Please call our office at 465-3577, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., to reserve your spot.
